New and returning clients begin here.
Honest Paralegal Services is growing, and we have updated our intake process so we can better understand how we can help, identify time-sensitive concerns, and prepare for a more focused consultation.
You do not need to know legal terms or decide what type of matter you have before beginning. Simply complete the brief intake and explain what is happening and what you would like help with.
The intake helps HPS:
Identify hearings, court dates, deadlines, notices, and other time-sensitive concerns
Confirm whether you are a new or returning HPS client
Review basic information and relevant documents before your consultation
Prepare for a more productive Detailed Consultation & Service Review
Determine whether HPS may be able to offer an appropriate nonlegal service or whether another resource may be appropriate
IMPORTANT: Honest Paralegal Services provides non-legal document support, administrative, educational, and neutral process support services. HPS is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Completing the intake does not create a client relationship, attorney-client relationship, or agreement for services.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you have a hearing, court date, response deadline, filing deadline, signing deadline, or another urgent matter, please identify it in the intake form.
What Happens Next?
Complete the intake. Tell HPS whether you are new or returning, explain what you need, and identify any documents, deadlines, or urgent concerns.
Schedule or await review. If your intake does not show an urgent concern, you will be directed to schedule an HPS Detailed Consultation & Service Review. If your intake identifies a deadline, safety concern, or other issue requiring review, HPS will review it before confirming the next step.
Meet with HPS. During the detailed consultation, we review the request, relevant information, and the type of support you are seeking.
Receive the appropriate next step. If HPS can offer a defined nonlegal service, you will receive the appropriate service agreement and next-step checklist. If the request is outside HPS’s scope, you may receive nonexclusive independent-attorney or other resource information.
Submitting an intake or scheduling a consultation does not guarantee that HPS will accept a matter or provide services.
